What are the best surf conditions for Cabo Pasado?
Cabo Pasado gets good between head high and triple overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard and then a step up as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here usually has something to ride (5/10) and will generally be uncrowded (3/10). The best winds are from the southeast. The best swells are from the northwest and west. Cabo Pasado works on all tides.
We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini year-round. Water temperatures range between 27°C (81°F) and 25°C (77°F). See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
