Located in West Ceara, Brazil, Portao is a pretty decent beach break that offers up some rippable conditions. The waves here require some skill to surf and break for up to 50 meters (164 feet) over a rock and sand bottom. This is the most consistent beach in the area.

Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when smaller and a shortboard as the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. Works on a low to mid-tide best.
