Located in Central Baja, Mexico, Punta San Gregorio is a fun river mouth wave that offers up rippable walls when the sand lines up correctly. The waves here require some skill to surf and break for up to 100 meters (328 feet) over a sand bottom.
What are the best surf conditions for Punta San Gregorio?
Gets good between waist-high and overhead. We recommend riding a longboard if smaller and a shortboard as the size picks up. This break is good for all levels of surfer. The surf here usually has something to ride (5/10) and will generally be uncrowded (3/10). The best winds are from the North. The best swells are from the South and Southwest. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a 3/2 wetsuit in the summers and a 4/3 in the winters. Water temperatures range from 20°C to 15°C (68°F to 59°F). See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
