Located in the Rivas Province, Nicaragua, Playa Rosada is home to a fast-breaking left wedge that offers up a quick tube. The waves here can be challenging to surf and breaks for up to 50 meters over a sand bottom.
What are the best surf conditions for Playa Rosada?
Gets good between chest high and double overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard and then a step up as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here is consistent (7/10) and will generally be uncrowded (4/10). The best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the South and Southwest. Works on a mid to high tide best.
We recommend wearing board shorts or a bikini year round as water temperatures range between 29 and 27 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
