Located on the Channel in France, Siouville is a fun stretch of beach that breaks over a sand bottom. The waves here can be challenging to surf and break for up to 100 meters providing some great sections for manoeuvres and occasional barrels. This is a very long stretch of beach but the best surfing is usually had around Siouville proper.
What are the best surf conditions for Siouville?
Gets good from waist high to triple overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when the waves are smaller and a shortboard when the size steps up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer depending on the size of the swell. The surf here sometimes has a wave (4/10) and can get busy at times (5/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the West. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a 4/3 when the water temps rise to 16 degrees in summer. In winter a 4/3 is good again when temps drop to 10 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
