Located in Northwest Puerto Rico, Leeward Islands, Gas Chambers is a world class hollow right hand slab that offers up some spitting, intense barrels when the swell picks up. This wave is dangerous, powerful, and tricky to ride. the wave breaks for up to 100 meters over a coral reef.
What are the best surf conditions for Gas Chambers?
Gets good between overhead and triple overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard then step up as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced level surfers. The surf here does not break often (3/10) and will get insanely crowded (9/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the Northwest. Works on all tides.
