Located in Northwest Puerto Rico, Leeward Islands, Middles is an excellent reef break that offers up some high-performance and hollow sections. This right-hand rocky reef break is one of the best in Puerto Rico, the waves breaking for up to 100 meters. Crowds are a guarantee and a bit fickle as well.

What are the best surf conditions for Middles?

Gets good between chest high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard if smaller and a shortboard then step up as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate to advanced-level surfers. The surf here is not the most consistent (4/10) and will get insanely crowded often (9/10). The best winds are from the South. The best swells are from the Northeast. Works on all tides.
