Located in Northwest Puerto Rico, Leeward Islands, Bridges is an excellent right-hand point, similar but always smaller to Maria’s, offering up both high-performance sections and barreling sections.
What are the best surf conditions for Bridges?
Gets good between chest high and double overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard or a step-up as the size picks up. This break is best for intermediate and advanced surfers. The surf here is somewhat consistent (5/10) and will get insanely crowded (9/10). The best winds are from the East and Southeast. The best swells are from the North, Northwest, and West. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing board shorts or a bikini year-round. Water temperatures range between 29 and 26. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
