Located in Brevard County on the East Coast of Florida, Jetty Park is an average break off of a jetty that breaks over a sand bottom. The waves here are usually choppy and easy to surf, breaking for 50 meters providing powerless sections for longboarding. The waves here are often polluted, surf at your own risk.
What are the best surf conditions for Jetty Park?
Gets good from waist-high to overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here most days and a shortboard on the rare, larger ones. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is not consistent (4/10) and is always somewhat crowded (7/10). The best winds are from the West. The best swells are from the East, South, and Southeast. Works on all tides equally.
We recommend wearing board shorts or a bikini in the summer when water temperatures rise to 29 degrees. In winter we recommend wearing a springuit when water temps drop to 21 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
