Located in Brevard County on the East coast of Florida, Playa Linda is a fun beachie that breaks over a sand bottom. The waves here are easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters providing some good sections for manoeuvres. Next to Kennedy Space Center, so watch out for rockets.
What are the best surf conditions for Playa Linda?
Gets good from waist high to triple overhead. Bring a longboard for most days and a shortboard for when the swell is pumping. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here isn’t the most consistent (4/10) and will usually be uncrowded (3/10). The best winds are from the southwest. The best swells are from the North, Northeast, Southeast, and East. Works on all tides but prefers incoming.
We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini in the summer when water temperatures rise to 29 degrees. In winter we recommend wearing a spring suit when water temps drop to 21 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
