Located in Southeast Scotland, St. Combs to Inverallochy is a stretch of coast that has a couple of reef and beach breaks that offer up good performance surfing opportunities. The waves here are not all easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters over sand and rock.
What are the best surf conditions for St. Combs to Inverallochy?
Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here if smaller and a shortboard as the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is not the most consistent (4/10) and will generally be uncrowded (4/10). The best winds are from the Southwest. The best swells are from the East, North, Northeast, and Southeast. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a 4/3 in the summer when water temperatures rise to 14 degrees. In the winter a 5/4 is best when water temperatures drop to 7 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
