Located in Landes, France, Mimizan-Plage is a fun beach break that is quite consistent for the area. The waves here break over a sand bottom for up to 100 meters throwing out some great barrels when the conditions are right. Be aware of some potential pollution around the river mouths.

Gets good from waist high to triple overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here when smaller and a shortboard when the size steps up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is consistent (7/10) and can get busy on weekends and holidays (5/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the North, Northwest, and West. Works on all tides.
