What are the best surf conditions for Cap Frehel?
It gets good between waist-high and triple overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when the waves are smaller and a shortboard when they get bigger. Cap Frehel is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is not the most consistent (4/10) and when it does break, the crowds are frothing (8/10). The best winds are from the South. The best swells are from the Northwest and West. It works on all tides.
