More on Plage Du Sillon (St Malo)

Located in Brittany in Northern France, Plage Du Sillon is a quality surf beach that breaks over a sand bottom. The waves here are pretty easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters providing some great sections for manoeuvres and the occasional barrel.

What are the best surf conditions for Plage Du Sillon?

Gets good from waist high to double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here when the surf is smaller and a shortboard when the size steps up. This beach is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here does not break often (3/10) and can get crowded at times (7/10). The best winds are from the Southwest. The best swells are from the Northwest and West. Works on all tides.

We recommend wearing a 3/2 wetsuit in the summer More...
