Located in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, Playa del Coco is a fun left-hand reef break that offers up some fun rides when the conditions line up. What are the best surf conditions for Playa Del Coco?
Gets good between waist-high and overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when smaller and a shortboard when bigger. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here is pretty consistent (6/10) and will generally be uncrowded (3/10). The best winds are from the Southeast. The best swells are from the Northwest and West. Works on a mid to high tide best.
