Located in Golfo Dulce, Costa Rica, Pan Dulce is a fun right-point break that offers up some fun waves that are usually mellow and perfect for longboarding. The waves here are easy to surf and break for up to 200 meters (656 feet) over a rock and sand bottom.
What are the best surf conditions for Pan Dulce?
Gets good between waist-high and overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when smaller and a shortboard as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here is somewhat consistent (5/10) and will usually have a crew (6/10). The best winds are from the West. The best swells are from the South and Southwest and need to be big. Works through the tide.
