Located in Golfo Dulce, Costa Rica, Eclipse is a quality river mouth peak that offers up rippable waves in a very isolated area. The waves here are heavy and break for up to 100 meters over a sand bottom.

Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard or. a step-up as it gets bigger. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here is consistent (7/10) and uncrowded (2/10). The best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the South, Southwest, and West. Works best on a low to mid-tide.
