Found in Queensland, Australia, Peregian Creek is not a bad beach break that crashes over sand. The waves here are pretty easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters providing fun sections for turns, carves, and airs.
What are the best surf conditions for Peregian Creek?
The beachies here get good between waist high and double overhead. We recommend a longboard for when it is smaller and a shortboard for when the size hits. Peregian Creek is best suited to all levels of surfers. The surf here is consistent (7/10) and will be busy on weekends and holidays (5/10) The best swells come from the East, Northeast, and Southeast. The best winds come of the Northwest. It works on all tides depending on the sandbanks.
We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini in the summer when water temperatures rise to 25 degrees. In winter a springsuit is best as the temps drop to about 19 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
