Tamri is the go-to spot when everywhere else in the Taghazout area is flat. This very consistent beach break works on different tides depending on the sand banks and swell, with an estuary home to camels, flamingos and banana plantations. With a NW swell and SE wind, Tamri will reach its full potential. Unlike many other spots in the area, it is onshore with a northerly wind.
Beginners should be aware of how far they have drifted down the coast. For more experienced surfers, there is normally a great left hander off the sand bank in front of the cliffs, one of the few lefts to be had in our part of Morocco
Beware of the very strong rips when the swell reaches 4ft or more.
