Killer Point is one of the famous right-hand point break in Morocco and a classic stop on a surf trip. Named after the killer whales that can often be spotted here, the spot provides epic long rides up to 500 meters and could be compared to Bells Beach. Killer Point is the most consistent point break in Taghazout and works at all tides. It can hold swells up to 15ft.
On small swells and at low tide, the peak in front of the cliff provides a short left and a sectioning right. As the swell picks up, vertical walls rumble down the point providing barrels and hard sections. On high tide, the inside section fires up as it is sheltered from the northerly winds. Keep in mind that it is always bigger than it looks from the cliffs.
If you surf at low tide, you can avoid the long paddle out and save your energy if you walk along the cliff and rock off.
