Located in Taghazout, Morocco, Killer Point is a fun right-point break that offers a fast, walling, and powerful wave when the conditions line up. The waves here are pretty heavy when it starts pumping and break for up to 200 meters over a sand bottom. The wave changes from a peak at lower tides with both a left and right to that long point at higher tides. This is also the most consistent point in the area.
What are the best surf conditions for Killer Point?
Gets good between waist-high and triple overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here if smaller and a shortboard then step up as the size increases. This break is best suited to intermediate and advanced surfers. The surf here is consistent (7/10) and will be very crowded (8/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the North, Northwest, and West. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a springsuit here in the summer when water temperatures rise to 25 degrees. In the winter a 5/4 is best when water temperatures drop to 9 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
