Located in Taghazout, Morocco, the infamous Anchor Point is the ultimate right-hand point break that offers up ultra-long, fast waves that offer up both barrel sections and performance sections. The waves here are challenging to surf and break for up to 600 meters (yes 600) over a sand bottom. This is one of the spots where it is easier to walk back to the lineup than paddle. Will be crowded but those crowds thin as the size increases. This is probably the most well-known and recognizable wave in all of Morocco, and for good reason.
