Located in South West Australia, Pea Break is a fun but shallow rocky reef break. The steep and stepped drop leads to a deep and heavy righthand barrel that exits to a large wall expecting to be hacked. The waves here require skill and can break for up to 100 meters, providing fast and throaty barrels.

Gets good between waist-high to triple overhead. We recommend riding your standard shortboard here. Pea Break in South West Australia is best suited to intermediate and advanced surfers. The surf here is pretty consistent (6/10) and will get crowded when the waves are good(7/10). The locals have the spot dialled and are not afraid to let out of towners know when they are out of line. Sit wide and wait for a set to swing to you if the peak is too crowded. The best winds for Pea Break are Southeast. The best swell direction is from the Northwest, Southwest and West, and the ideal tide is mid to high, although low will also work.
