Located on the Batavia Coast, Western Australia, Bowes River is a fun collection of reef and beach breaks. The waves here are pretty easy to surf and can break for up to 100 meters, serving up barreling sections where you can pull in and snag some tube time when it’s on. The rivermouth and surrounding reefs provide a great alternative to those not obsessed with the heavy, intimidating reef shelves that are so common on this part of the coast. There is also a campground near the break that many surfers frequent.
