Boa Vista Surf Village is the premier wave pool in Brazil. This is another Perfectswell technology pool, like BSR Surf Resort in Waco. However, this pool is about double the length, giving the opportunity for longer barrels and higher airs. The pool breaks both left and right and can be turned up or down depending on the skill level of those in the water. The machine pumps out a ton of waves per hour, so you will always be surfed out after a session here. The slabbing sections are heavy, and break over concrete, so take care. At lower difficulty levels the wave tends to be quite forgiving.
The pool faces East to West. So wind from either direction will be offshore depending on the direction of the wave. No need to worry about tides/swell, this is a wavepool! Winter and fall might be a bit chilly, so a 3/2 or shortie wetsuit will work. All other times boardshorts or a bikini are best.
The wave pool is open only for members at the moment. It is located in a luxury villa village which offers omuch more than the wave pool. Therefore it would be a big investment to get access to this pool. Alternatively you can befriend a member and get in on a guest pass.
The Boa Vista Village offers many activities. Check out their golfing, equestrian services, tennis courts, spa, and anything else you would expect at a luxury golf center. The vibes are wealthy and polished, have fun! Yeeew!
