Located right on the sand in front of Sunset Beach, the private vacation rental is just 1000 feet away from the world famous Pipeline. The beach in front of the house is hardly used as there is no public access to it close by.

The exotic, Polynesian-style house has 4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms and is perfectly comfortable for 2 – 8 people. The master king bedroom upstairs has a beach and ocean view. The downstairs queen master bedroom looks out to the volleyball court and beach and ocean. Both of the other bedrooms have views of the tropical greenery and mountains. The jungle foliage comes down from the mountains and surrounds the Sunset Beach House, giving you an exclusive private view of Sunset Beach, one of the most famous and romantic beaches in Hawaii.

There is a Jacuzzi on the deck overlooking the beach and features a private volleyball/badminton. Below the deck is a shower with hot water, and hidden by foliage, making it a private favorite place to refresh after the beach or spa. The living room has a 46” Flatscreen HDTV featuring all the movie channels with stereo DVD, and there are Flatscreen TV/DVDs in all the bedrooms. The vacation rental has digital security and an electronic safe for your cash and valuables.

Custom crafted in local island Koa hardwood, the kitchen has every appliance you can
think of. Additionally the house has a Telephone, Cable, Wireless Internet (WiFi), iron, and the usual items you would find in your own home.

A less than ten minute drive takes you to the historic whaling town of Haleiwa, with it’s many restaurants, shopping, a marina for deep sea fishing, and live entertainment nightly. Five miles away in the other direction is the Turtle Bay Hilton featuring two championship GOLF courses, horseback riding, a disco, Massages/Spa/Salon Services, and Restaurants & Night Spots.

Aside from surfing there are many Island activities, such as hangliding, scuba diving, polo matches, jet-skisand much more. When the surf is down, the water is crystal clearand wonderful for snorkeling. Waimea Falls is a mile away, and the Waimea Valley is great for hiking. The property manager is always on call for you and lives nearby. Assistance is available for any information or help making reservations for local services and activities.

The World’s mecca of surf normally shows it’s first signs of life around October, and is high season through to March. The tradewinds prevail year-round from the East-Northeast. This is perfect offshore for Oahu’s NorthShore, as it faces slightly west. The swell can easily jump from head high to triple overhead in a couple hours, so caution is required, especially for lesser experienced surfers

Getting there

To get around Hawaii, a rental car is best. Turtle Bay is a 55 minute drive from the Honolulu International Airport. In the winter months (November-February), traffic is a bit slow, and it can take longer.

Take H1 Freeway, Westbound. Stay on the HI Freeway for approximately six miles. Look for signs for the H2 Freeway, Northbound (North Shore/Wahiawa) Merge right onto the H2 Freeway. Continue on the H2 Freeway North to Wahiawa. Exit at Wahiawa (Exit 8) on to 80 (Kamehameha Hwy) through Wahiawa. Continue Northbound, 80 connects with 99. Stay on 99 to Haleiwa. The road now bypasses Haleiwa and becomes route 83.

You can also request Island Transporters or SpeediShuttle to provide you transportation from Honolulu International Airport to Sunset Beach.
