Located on the North Shore of Oahu, Kammieland is just down the street from Sunset. It generally offers big long lefts on big swells but there are shorter rights as well. The waves here are challenging to surf and break for up to 200 meters over a rocky reef. Take care at size this is a powerful break.
What are the best surf conditions for Kammieland?
Gets good between chest high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when smaller and a shortboard or step-up as the size picks up. This break is good for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here is somewhat consistent (5/10) and will get quite crowded (8/10). The best winds are from the Southeast. The best swells are from the Northwest. Works on all tides.
Boardshorts or bikinis are good year-round here. Water temperatures range from 24 to 27 Celsius. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
