Located on the North Shore of Oahu, Leftovers is a fun predominately left-breaking reef break that offers up some steep barrels when on. At size, there is also a right. The waves here are challenging to surf and break for up to 100 meters over a reef.
What are the best surf conditions for Leftovers?
Gets good between chest high and double overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard or step-up as the size picks up here. This break is good for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here is somewhat consistent (4/10) and will generally have a crew on it (6/10). The best winds are from the Southeast. The best swells are from the Northwest. Works on all tides.
Boardshorts or bikinis are good year-round here. Water temperatures range from 24 to 27 Celsius. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
