Located on the Eastern Coast of Florida, Jensen Beach is a fun beach break that crashes over a sand bottom. The waves here are straightforward to surf and break for up to 100 meters providing some excellent sections for turns, hacks, and carves.
What are the best surf conditions for Jensen Beach?
Gets good from waist-high to overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here when smaller and a shortboard when the size picks up. This beach is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is not consistent (3/10) and can get quite crowded with tourists (8/10). The best winds are from the West. The best swells are from the North and Northeast. Works on all tides, incoming best.
We recommend wearing board shorts or a bikini in the summer when water temperatures rise to 29 degrees. In winter a springsuit will keep you warm in the 22-degree water. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
