Located in Central Florida on the Eastern coast, Fort Pierce Jetty is a fun jetty set-up that breaks over a sand bottom. The waves here can be tricky to surf at times as the energy wedges off the jetty, but the wave breaks for up to 200 meters and is generally hollow, providing some great barrel sections. South swells are shadowed here, locals can be a bit grumpy, and sharks are quite consistently around.
Gets good from waist-high to overhead. A longboard will work great here most days and a shortboard is best when the size begins to pick up.
