Located in South Lombok, Indonesia, Out/Inside Ekas is a fun pair of reef breaks that offer up one heavy and barreling left option on the outside, and a tamer inside right-hander perfect for manoeuvres. The waves on the outside are challenging to surf but the waves on the inside are much easier. Both break over a coral reef.
What are the best surf conditions for Outside/Inside Ekas?
Gets good between waist high and triple overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when smaller on the inside and a shortboard or a step up when the size picks up and the outside starts breaking. The inside is suitable for all levels of surfer, the outside is best for intermediate and advanced level surfers. The surf here usually has a wave (5/10) and will get busy at times (5/10). The best winds are from the East and Southeast. The best swells are from the Southwest. Works on all tides.
