Located in West Bali, Seminyak is a fun beach break that offers up some great lefts and rights perfect for ripping into. The waves can be challenging and break for up to 100 meters over a sand bottom. The surf here is shifty, can either be amazing A-frames or straight closeouts.
What are the best surf conditions for Seminyak?
Gets good between waist high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when smaller and a shortboard or a step-up as the size increases. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is consistent (7/10) and can get busy at peak times (5/10). The best winds are from the North and Northwest. The best swells are from the South, Southwest, and West. Works best on a mid to high tide.
We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini year-round here. The water temperatures climb to 28 in the summer and drop only to 25 in the winter. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
