Located in West Bali, Berawa Beach is a fun beach break that offers up some decent waves with sections for turns and hacks. The waves here are not always easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters over a rock and sand bottom. The rights are usually better than the lefts.
What are the best surf conditions for Berawa Beach?
Gets good between waist high and overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here when smaller and a shortboard then step up when the size picks up. The surf here is pretty consistent (6/10) and will generally be uncrowded (4/10). The best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the South, Southwest, and West. Works on all tides but high is best.
We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini year-round. In summer water temperatures rise to 28 degrees before dropping only to 25 degrees in the winter. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
