Les Culs Nus literally means “Bare Bums”, so except to see a few when walking through the beach to reach the spot. It is worth the adventure as the waves are usually very fun. When the conditions are reunited to reach its full potential, with a NW swell and Easterly wind, it can offer perfect A-frame barrels. But this spot is not the most consistent during summer…
The beach Les Culs Nus makes the transition between the classic spots up north and the gnarly shories and big waves beaches of Hossegor. It starts working from 2ft and can hold up to 15ft and can be quite hollow with shallow water. Between mid and high tide, because of the steeper beach angle, the spot works better with a moderate swell.
