More on La Sud

Located south of Hossegor and close to the river mouth, La Sud is a sheltered beach break. Here, it is always smaller!

This spot would be the “kiddies corner” of Hossegor, perfect for beginners and intermediate surfers. Thus, it gets very busy in Summer or when the swell gets too big for the other more exposed spots in the area. Despite its reputation, the spot can hold swells up to 8-10ft.

La Sud works from to mid to low tide and favours lefts. Avoid high tide as the wave becomes a unsurfable ugly shore break.
