Located in Nayarit, Mexico, La Lancha is a fun reef break that throws up peaky lefts and rights perfect for ripping into. The waves here require a bit of skill to surf and break for up to 200 meters over a rocky bottom. The beach is beautiful, with unique rock formations.
What are the best surf conditions for La Lancha?
Gets good between chest high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard if smaller and a shortboard when the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here usually has something to ride (5/10) and will generally be uncrowded (3/10). the best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the West. Works on all tides.
