Located in Los Cabos, Mexico (Baja), Pescadero is a fun beach/reef break that throws up peaky A-frames when the right swells come through. The waves here require a bit of skill to surf and break for up to 100 meters over a rock and sand bottom.
What are the best surf conditions for Pescadero?
Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when smaller and a shortboard or step-up as the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is somewhat consistent (6/10) and can be uncrowded (4/10). The best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the Northwest, Southwest, and West. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing board shorts or a bikini year-round. Water temperatures range between 29 and 21 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
