Gets good between waist-high to double overhead. We recommend riding your standard shortboard when bigger here. Observation City in Perth is best suited to beginner to advanced surfers. The surf here is pretty consistent, but not often great (6/10) and you will usually score uncrowded waves (4/10). The best winds for Observation City are East. The best swell direction is from the Southwest and West, and it works on all tides.
