Located in Kauai, Hawaii, Mana Point is a good beachie set-up that offers up some rippable peaks when the conditions line up. The waves here are not always easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters over a sand bottom.
What are the best surf conditions for Mana Point?
Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard, shortboard, or step up as the size increases. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is very consistent (8/10) and will get busy at times (5/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the North, Northwest, South, Southwest, and West. A crossed-up combo swell is best. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing board shorts or a bikini year-round here. Water temperatures range from 27 to 24. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
