Located on Kauai, Centers is a quality stretch of reef that offers up peaky barrels when the conditions line up. The waves here are challenging, mostly due to the sharp nature of the reef, and break for up to 100 meters over a coral reef.

What are the best surf conditions for Centers?

Gets good between chest high and double overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard or step-up as the size picks up. This break is good for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here is somewhat consistent (5/10) and will usually have a crew on it (6/10). The best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the Southwest. Works on a mid-tide best.
