Located in Mamanucas and Viti Levu, Fiji, Natadola is a quality left hand offshore reef break that can offer zippy barrels when smaller and big chunky walls when big swell arrives. The waves here can be challenging to surf and break for up to 100 meters over a coral reef. There is also a good inside reef peak for longboarding and a shorebreak for bodyboarding.
What are the best surf conditions for Natadola?
Gets good between waist high and triple overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard then step up as the size increases. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced level surfers. The surf here is somewhat consistent (6/10) and will generally be uncrowded (3/10). The best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the South, Southwest, and West. Works on a mid to high tide best.
We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini all year. Water temperatures stick between 27 and 24. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
