Hudhuranfushi resort accommodations are a mix of Beach Villas, Lohis Rooms, Ocean Villas, and the more budget conscious Garden Rooms.

Beach villas are spacious with timber front deck, polished cement flooring, TV, mini bar, bathtub and outdoor open air shower. The beach villas are about 20 steps under the vegetation canopy to the white sandy beach and lagoon. The beach villas are an ideal choice for couples or families with non surfers.

Lohis Rooms are the ultimate place to stay for the thrill seekers who want to be as close to the surf as possible. It’s just a 1 min walk from the room to paddle out. These rooms are configured with 1 double bed or 2 single beds with TV, Mini Bar, wardrobe, bathroom and a small deck.

The Ocean Villas are ideal for honeymooners or that special romantic occasion. All rooms are air conditioned as well as have ceiling fans. Non surfing partners and families love the laid back island paradise feel just as much as the surfers.

Garden Rooms are throughout the middle of the island with convenient access to the hotel facilities. Even though these rooms lack beach front view they are equipped with a variety of modern amenities and ideal for those on a budget.

Surf & season

Hudhuranfushi Surf Resort provides the quintessential tropical surf experience where intermediate level surfers can feel like a pro, ripping in perfect un-crowded conditions.

The Southwest monsoon lasts from May to October, which is also prime surf season as southern hemisphere winter low pressure systems off Antarctica project long energy bands NW across the Indian Ocean. The early part of the season has the most stable weather, with light, favorable winds, with March, April and May having very clean conditions. June to August have the most potential for big swells, although tropical storms and rain squalls can be more common in these months

The resort provides excellent surf conditions without compromising any comfort. You will find a perfect left just meters away from your doorstep. There are more than 5 other excellent surf breaks within 10-30min by boat. The resort offers two boat trips per day. It is suited for intermediate and advanced surfers, and for pros when it goes big.

Food & Inclusions

Included meals are buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner in the Banyan Restaurant, and 3 snack buffets.

Banyan Restaurant – Breakfast features fresh croissants and other fresh items baked daily, fresh fruits with natural yogurt and the legendary “all in” Lohis omelettes. Lunch and Dinner buffets feature traditional Maldivian and Western cuisines such as pastas, curries and stir fries, plus a daily specialty like grilled fish. In addition you can expect a good healthy salad selection, lots of fresh tropical fruits and an impressive dessert bar.

The Sunset Restaurant & Bar is perched on a deck overlooking the island’s scenic harbour. The impressive a la carte menu offers an elegant and memorable fine dining experience.

The Breeze Bar and Restaurant is near the Ocean Villas. There are snacks also served here three times a day.

Keep the party going after sunset. Scattered throughout the island are several other bars with live music, karaoke and dancing: The Beach Bar, Hiyala Bar, Dohdi Bar with a Disco, and Lohis Bar with full view of the surf of Lohis left. Drinks are all inclusive until 6pm, however the bar is open until 10pm).
