More on Chickens

Located in the North Male Atolls, Chickens got its name because it breaks off an island that was previously a poultry farm. It is one of the longest and most high-performance spots in the Maldives. It is a well exposed left point-reef break and possibly the fastest wave in the North Male Atoll. It can handle swell from 3ft to 10ft plus, with rides 500 meters long. It really gets better with size and is best at head high to double overhead. If the spots to the south are maxing out, Chickens is the call. The waves here are heavy, know your limits when you paddle out here.
