More on Sultans

Located in the North Male Atolls, Indian Ocean, Sultans is a world class right hander that offers up an easy take off into a performance wall then shallow barrel section on the inside. This spot can get pretty heavy and break for up to 200 meters over a coral reef. Sultans can handle some size and never closes out.

What are the best surf conditions for Sultans?

Gets good between chest high and triple overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard then step up as the size increases. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced level surfers. The surf here is generally consistent (7/10) and will always have a crew (7/10). The best winds are from the Northwest. The best swells are from the South, Southeast, and Southwest. Works on all tides.
