Located in the Maldives, Ninja Point is the North Male Atoll’s premiere spot for longboarders and beginners. It breaks slower and with less shape than the surrounding waves and starts to close out when it gets over shoulder high. Ninjas is typically less consistent and more shifty and is definitely a wave for those who like to cruise and improvise. The takeoffs change and increase depending on the swell and tide. For this reason one wave can be fairly accommodating for several different surfers catching the wave at various take offs for their own speedy drop-in. The waves break right for up to 100 meters over a coral reef.
