The Aman Gati Hotel is located deep in the Hu’u bay of Sumbawa, Indonesia. It is a tropical garden paradise nestled in the swaying palms, on a white sand beach, directly in front of the classic A-frame Lakey Peak. The rooms are designed with a combination of modern and local architectures. The oversized beds, bathtub, and hot / cold water will have you feeling like royalty. All rooms are air conditioned with a private terrace or balcony over looking tropical gardens. Watch the surf from your room via the onsite Surfcam, along with the satellite TV. Divided among the 5 lodging types; there are 50 rooms. lodging types are: Seaview Room, Beach Bungalow Room, Blue House Villa, Big House Villa, and White Villa.

In the center of the hotel’s exquisite tropical garden sits the cafe which serves as a focal point for social gathering. Locals and guests alike discuss the day’s plans over breakfast, pr toasting a refreshing drink or cold beer for sunset. The top notch restaurant serves a delectable variety of cuisine with international dishes. Large servings of fresh local ingredients will have you at peak performance level for the surf. While recharging for your next surf session, there is a large cinema screen for surf flicks and movies. Chilling at the pool sports an epic view of the Lakey Peak surf action.

Surf & season

Although there are waves year-round, and the “off” season has potential for un-crowded perfection, the best time of year is during the dry season. From around late March to early November, during the southern hemisphere’s winter, the Indian Ocean produces non-stop groundswells.

The best surf months at Lakey Peak are June-Sept, but the onshores generally come up around 10:00am. March – April time has less swell however the winds are favorable. The other spots within walking distance are Perescopes, Lakey Pipe, Nungas, Cobblestones, and No Man’s.

Food & Inclusions

Standard rooms have an oversized bed, private bathroom with bath tube, hot and cold running water.

Sea View Rooms are complete with an oversized bed, private bathroom with bath tube, hot and cold running water.

Blue House is equipped with air conditioned rooms and are completed with an oversized bed, private bathroom with bath tube, hot and cold running water. This house sleeps 4 comfortably with one double bed and two single bed huge lounge area and awesome view across Lakey beach, Perfect for groups or families.

Big Beach House is equipped with 3 air conditioned bedrooms; The master bedroom is surfront has an ensuite bathroom and a super – King size double bed. The other 2 bedrooms are equally spacious with double bed, spectacular views of rainforest covered “puma” mountain. and are completed 2 bathrooms of beachfront mansion. with hot and cold running water. This is maximum comfort at lakey with accomodation for 6 people.

Villa Putih is equipped with three air conditioned bed rooms; one twin single beds and two king-size double bed, both with ensuites. Each room is fitted with Flat screen TV’s with Indovision Channels, and are complet with private bathroom with bath tube, hot and cold running water. This villa is beach front with views across lakey bay. Perfect for families or small group bookings . This is Lakey Bays best accommodation and includes daily breakfast.
