Located in Simeulue and Banyak Islands, North Sumatra, Indonesia, Lolok Point is an excellent left reef set up that offers up a speedy, throaty tube. The waves here are challenging and break for up to 200 meters over a sharp coral reef.
What are the best surf conditions for Lolok Point?
Gets good between head high and triple overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard then step up as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced level surfers. The surf here is consistent (6/10) and will generally be busy on weekends (5/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the Southwest and West. Works on a mid to high tide best.
The water temperatures fluctuate between 25 and 29 year round. Boardshorts or a bikini will do the trick all year. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
