Located in West Java, Cikembang is an excellent right point break that offers up some high performance sections perfect for sinking a rail into. The waves here are not easy to surf and break for up to 200 meters over a rocky bottom. Gets some shelter from Westerly winds.
What are the best surf conditions for Cikembang?
Gets good between chest high and double overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard then step up as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced level surfers. The surf here is not the most consistent (4/10) and will generally be uncrowded (3/10). The best winds are from the North. The best swells are from the South, needs to be somewhat lined up. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini year round. Water temperatures vary between 29 and 25. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
