Located in Java, Indonesia, Ombak Tujuh (“Seven Waves”) is an excellent big wave reef set up that offers up big left hand barrels after extreme elevator drops. The waves here are really heavy, hold downs are not a joke here, and break for up to 200 meters over a coral reef.

Gets good between head high and triple overhead. We recommend riding a step up or gun as the size picks up. this break is suitable for intermediate (confident ones) and advanced level surfers. The surf here usually has a wave to surf (5/10) and will be uncrowded (4/10). The best winds are from the East, Northeast, or Southeast. The best swells are from the South, Southwest, or West. Works on all tides.
