Bohemian Baru is a 62’ aluminum catamaran powered by two diesel engines and cruises at 10-12 knots. It is accompanied by a hard-bottom Hypolon inflatable thirteen foot tender powered by a Yamaha 25 HP outboard. The surf charter is spacious, comfortable and stable. Especially good for people prone to sea sickness, Because it is a catamaran, it bobs less in the water. Bohemian Baru is based in North Sumatra longer than any other boat, and now in West Sumatra as well. Surf charters are offered to the Mentawai Islands, the Telos, Nias, the Hinako Islands (Asu & Bawa), Bangkaru, the Banyaks and Simeulue.
The Bohemian Baru can easily sleep 12 guests. Guests sleep in twin-berth cabins and share two bathrooms with a third up on deck. Bohemian Baru offers exclusive charters and special prices to groups of 10 surfers. However, can accommodate up to 14 charter guests and handle large groups on request.
In the saloon you will find a large seating area entertained by big screen TV, DVD player and stereo. The fully air-conditioned boat has a water maker, and all modern navigational and safety equipment. There is ample room to chill out under the shaded areas on the bow or up on the bridge deck. From the deck other ocean activities are launched, including fishing from the tender, snorkeling, free-diving, SUP. Sumatra is famous for beautiful coral reefs for excellent snorkeling.

The professional chefs are legendary for cooking up healthy and delicious meals to keep you fueled up for the surf. The fresh fish caught everyday ranges from tuna, mahi mahi or king mackerel and the boat is stocked with chicken and an abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables. Your back home favorites such as hamburgers and pastas are available on board too.
